Stonehenge 2026

We all had so much fun at Stonehenge over the last couple of years, that it was great to be asked back again for 2026! What would we build though? We’d already built one trilothon so how could we top that?

Well, we decided to build the largest single part of Stonehenge that still stands. This bit:

We’d need just as many bricks as last year, and just as much help from all the visitors! Once again, we’d be building a model so big and heavy, that it was prudent to build around a truss framework. This doesn’t take any of the weight of the bricks - but it does make sure that should the model collapse for any reason - it does it in a way that we can anticipate. Remember that, as we’re building this model live on site, there’s NO GLUE used in these builds at all!

After a solid. days of building, our master builders - Emily, Jack and Michael - could stand back and look at everyones’ handiwork. What do you think - is it a good replica?

Now all we have to do is to pack it all away….!
