As part of their 250th Anniversary celebrations, Fort George hosted a two-day event - Festival at the Fort. Alongside the interactive displays of all periods of the Fort’s history, we were there building LEGO!

Since 2015, we’ve been based at a lovely business centre, just outside Edinburgh. Honestly - it’s really nice and has served us well. It’s the offices you would have seen pictures of whenever we’re in the press. Nice though it is, of course - it’s always better to have a place of your own. So please say hello to the new building that we have just bought!
The Hill House Box
Budding architects can follow in the footsteps of the great Charles Rennie Mackintosh by building their own Hill House with Lego bricks.
Brick City at The Base Greenham Common
Brick City has arrived at ‘The Base’ in Greenham Common.
The Base is a great new arts and exhibition venue which opened in early 2019 , the centre has several ‘in residence’ artists working from studio spaces on the first floor… but there are is now an influx of new residents on the ground floor - MINIFIGURES !
Awesome Bricks 2019
We were back at the National Museum of Flight for Awesome Bricks, and it was awesome! It is always an incredible experience and it was wonderful to be back for our third year at the museum - making things even bigger and better! There was a wealth of attractions and activities for visitors of all ages!
The Hamburg Süd Fleet
As part of their one-year anniversary celebrations for the merger of Maersk A/S and Hamburg Süd, Maersk commissioned a 1:200 scale model of one of Hamberg Süd’s CAP SAN fleet to be displayed at their Hamburg offices. This beautifully detailed model is presented in the official company colours in December 2018 and was a great success with the staff.
These are the Droids you're looking for...
Well, at least one of the droids! It was Edinburgh Comic Con this past weekend and, as it’s our local con, we thought it was time to do a BIG Build. Actor Jimmy Vee was one of the guest this years, best known for his roles in Harry Potter, Doctor Who and - of course - Star Wars! Jimmy played R2D2 in episodes VII and VIII, so it was great to get his seal of approval on the final model.
Brick Wonders is open at the Horniman Museum throughout the summer
The majority of our exhibition stay in a single venue for a few months, then they move on. Sometimes it’s much less - but sometimes it’s more. Especially when a large, busy, London museum needs a crowd pleaser for the summer!
Back in Berlin!
A few weeks ago, we were in Berlin for Fruit Logistica 2019 - more on that soon! Only a couple of weeks later and we are back again!

Going Bananas in Berlin
To help make their stand out at the enormous Fruit Logistics Trade Show at the Messe Berlin, Chiquita hosted a live build of the star of The LEGO Movie 2, Bananar La Star!
Appleton Tower
If you live in Edinburgh, you’ll know of the Appleton Tower. As well as being housing some of Edinburgh Universities Students union and being the Edinburgh Fringe Hub - it’s also the home to the School of Infomatics. They’re a world leader in artificial intelligence, natural language processing and machine translation, and theoretical computer science……
Build it… and destroy it!
Usually we’re asked to build a model. It’s not often we have to destroy it as well! In this case, our customer was looking to create some video segments showing the destruction of a number of LEGO models.

A Stirling effort
The team from Warren Elsmore have been working closely all year with HES ( Historic Environment Scotland). This week the team completed the Installation of Brick Wonders into the prestigious Stirling Castle.
