Newsletter — April 2022

As we head into spring we have had an exciting few weeks getting our tours ready for Easter. Already a fantastic trip taking Brick City from Edinburgh to Guernsey and another tour already open in Chichester. It's been a great few months, really good to be back out seeing fans and the community at Bricktastic in February, we forget how much we have missed the interaction and seeing everyone face to face. This year is set to be epic, with plans for our tours and commissions, we look forward to keeping you up to date with our news and developments.

Things to do at Easter

With a long Easter weekend ahead of us and the kids off school across the country, it's great to see news and updates on fans enjoying our tours.

If you get the chance don't miss Brick Wonders at Novium in Chichester, there until June 5th and Brick Built is at Wrexham Museum until May 8th.

The team will also be over in Wrexham next week with activations and activities for the Easter holidays.

Edinburgh to Guernsey

April 2nd saw the opening of Brick City at The Guernsey Museum at Candie, what a great trip captured by Warren on time-lapse. It's fantastic to be open and in a new location, already fans are enjoying going to see it. Check out our video, it captures the road trip ferry, loading in and the full installation of our Brick City Tour, which in the last couple of years has some fabulous changes and additions.

Guernsey also marks the first time that Brick City has been accompanied by the Digital Companion. You can access details on all of our models by scanning the QR code, or tapping your device against it. Warren’s even recorded audio guides for all the models and some cheesy voice-overs.

You can read more about the Guernsey install on our blog here.

The history of Exeter in bricks

Whilst our touring exhibitions continue to travel around the world, sometimes we’re asked to do something a little more special. This one has been in the works since 2019!

Delayed from 2020 due to a certain virus that you might have heard of, Brick by Brick has been developed especially for the Royal Albert Memorial Museum in Exeter. Within the exhibition, you’ll be able to chart the history of Exeter through nine special commissions. Head on over to our blog for sneak peeks at all the other models.

The exhibition opens 18th June and runs till 11th September, details, tickets etc can be found on the RAMM website at this link.

And finally…

Awesome Bricks 2022 is just around the corner, this year open June 18th & 19th at The National Museum of Flight. Our chance to catch up with so many fans and display some of our own builds too. The team are working hard on new feature areas with news and updates to follow next month.....
